From Roman Naumachia to The Living Theatre, theatre history is full of spectacle, emotion, storytelling, politics, and so much more. This course explores elements of theatre history across the world from antiquity in Greece and Rome to mid-20th century avant-garde performance. The course will explore both theatrical elements and their historical development.
